About the Role:
The Manager in Training (MIT) program is a comprehensive, hands-on development program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful Manager within our organization. Designed to run for 18 to 24 months, the Management Trainee program is intended to give participants a thorough understanding of business operations and offers them a chance to learn about diverse areas such as Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources. You will work closely with experienced managers, mentors, and team members, learning best practices and developing your leadership capabilities.
Business Operating Hours/Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
During the MIT program, you will:
- Rotate through various departments: Gain firsthand experience in different operational areas, such as [Parts, Rental, Service] as well as other areas of the business such as Sales, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Human Resources.
- Shadow experienced managers: Observe and learn from established leaders, gaining insights into their decision-making processes, leadership styles, and management techniques.
- Assist with day-to-day operations: Support various teams by assisting with daily tasks, learning the intricacies of the business and contributing to team success.
- Learn and implement company policies and procedures: Become proficient in our operational guidelines and ensure adherence to standards.
- Receive mentorship and coaching: Benefit from guidance and coaching from experienced managers and mentors.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
- This role requires travel to various locations within your designated operations area as you learn and progress through the program. You must be comfortable with this travel requirement.
- Willingness to relocate within the designated Operations area (NEO or SE) upon completion of the program, if required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
