Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician
Location: Elmhurst, NY (11373)
Facility: Hospital Setting
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Shifts: Multiple Shifts Available (Monday – Friday)

• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hour

A leading healthcare facility is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to assist in medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. The role requires attention to detail, compliance with regulatory standards, and the ability to work across multiple shifts as needed.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and distributing medications.
• Maintain accurate medication inventory and ensure proper storage.
• Adhere to all Federal, State, and local regulations regarding pharmacy operations.
• Rotate through various pharmacy areas, including satellite locations, as assigned.
• Receive, return, and deliver medications, carts, and supplies to hospital units.
• Operate pharmacy equipment and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems as needed.
• Maintain sterile processing standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician License issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Experience: Pharmacy dispensing, IV room procedures, and sterile processing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
